CBSE CTET July 2023 Exam Eligibility Code Details
CTET Primary Level (Class I to V) Eligibility with Code
The candidate must meet one of the following requirements: 1. Completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and is either passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR 2. Completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 45% marks and is either passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, as per the NCTE 2002 Norms. OR 3. Completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and is either passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR 4. Completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and is either passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR 5. Hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks and is either passed or appearing in the final year of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). Those who have obtained a Bachelor of Education qualification from any NCTE recognized institution may be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V. However, it is mandatory for the appointed person to undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE within two years of becoming a primary teacher. OR 6. Hold a Post-Graduation degree with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and is either passed or appearing in the final year of a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. program.
CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) Eligibility with Code
- Possessing a Bachelor's Degree and currently in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (regardless of its name). - Achieving a minimum of 50% marks either in Graduation or Post-Graduation and currently in the final year of a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). - Holding a Graduation degree with at least 45% marks and currently in the final year of a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with NCTE Norms. - Attaining a Senior Secondary (or equivalent) qualification with a minimum of 50% marks and currently in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). - Obtaining a Senior Secondary (or equivalent) qualification with at least 50% marks and currently in the final year of a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed program. - Graduating with a minimum of 50% marks and currently in the final year of a 1-year B.Ed. / (B.Ed Special Education) program. - Any candidate who has completed a recognized B.Ed. Program by the NCTE is eligible to appear in the TET/CTET. Additionally, according to the TET guidelines stated in the NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, an individual pursuing any teacher education course specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010, recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, is also qualified to take the TET/CTET. - Holding a Post-Graduation degree with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and currently in the final year of a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. program.
How to Fill AIIMS NORCET 4th Exam Online Form 2023 The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the release of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for Paper I to V and VI to VIII in 2023. Candidates can apply online from 27/04/2023 to 26/05/2023. Please note that this year, exam centers are limited in each city. Candidates will be able to view the live information of available exam centers while filling out the form.
